Great news off the start!

We filled some vacant positions at the hall to keep the place in tip top shape. We have also transitioned some new positions on the board into their roles, including a new social media coordinator! I have been enjoying the content so far. Please make sure to like, comment, or share posts from @haysboroca.

As well, the facilities committee is up and working with our project manager to put the grant funds to use for hall upgrades – stay tuned. A reminder: we can definitely use input from the community-at-large on these projects. Feel free to get in touch with me to join up if you wish to know more.

I also just took a phone call from a local consulting firm on behalf of a developer for a project that will affect residents of Haysboro to a certain extent. I will share more of those details as they become available, but I wanted to provide a sneak peek hint at the opportunity for a consultation process.

I hope you and your families are enjoying spring in Calgary and the bud break and longer evenings, as I am! I also hope there’s time for a little extra chocolate as a treat as well.

Happy spring, Haysboro!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Thomas

President, Haysboro Community Association
