Spring Plant Fundraiser
Help support Riverbend community beautification with our first ever Spring Plant Fundraiser. By purchasing plants through this program, not only will you beautify your own space, but the proceeds from the fundraiser will support future community beautification projects.
Orders will be accepted from April 11 to May 10 until 3:00 pm.
Pick up at the RCA parking lot on Wednesday May 24 between 5:00 to 7:30 pm*
*Pick-ups must be made by 7:30 pm. Any remaining flowers will be donated to the RCA and planted at the community centre.
If you are unable to collect your order yourself, please arrange to have a friend or neighbour pick up your order and designate them on the order form. Order online at www.riverbendcommunity.ca/events/spring-plant-fundraiser.

Spring Parade of Garage Sales
Saturday, June 10
Start your spring cleaning and decluttering right away as the Spring Parade of Garage Sales is coming on Saturday, June 10! Thank you to Remax realtors Bart Lamb and Tarryn Hamilton for hosting the event for our community. Please register online at www.riverbendcommunity.ca/events so your location will be added to the map. The electronic map will be available on our website and hardcopies will be available for pick up at the community centre on the Friday before the event.
End of School Dance
Friday, June 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Join us to celebrate the end of the school year!
This year’s theme is ‘Rodeo’ so please feel free to wear your cowboy hats and boots!
We will also have a cash only concession for refreshments.

Good Food Box Program
The content varies monthly, due to seasonal availability. The boxes contain the maximum produce to ensure our clients are getting the most value for the price.
• $25 Small Box (20 to 25 lbs.)
• $30 Medium Box (30 to 35 lbs.)
• $35 Large Box (40 to 45 lbs.)
Order deadline: Tuesday May 22 by 6:00 pm for pick-up on Thursday, June 1 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm at the community centre.

Seniors Cards and Coffee!
Join us in the Elbow Room every second and fourth Friday of the month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for cards, coffee, treats, and friendship. $2 donation appreciated. No pre-registration necessary.

2023 Riverbend Slo-pitch League is Back!
Riverbend Slo-pitch league is a non-contact league (no sliding into bases and home plate is a mat); each team supplies and umpires their own games; fun league (we do not track wins or losses for teams ); each team is provided with six or seven game balls; bases are supplied and are kept at the diamond. There is a wind-up tournament which starts the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend and continues through the following weekend. There is a windup party after the league ends, usually at the end of September. Must be 18 years of age to join. There is one game per week from July to mid-September (weekdays in July and August). Games take place at Holy Angel’s School diamond. Must purchase an RCA membership to register.
