Rutland Park Development and Traffic Report for February

I would just like to highlight what has been happening/going on behind the scenes this past month, in no particular order:

Thank you, Steve D. for taking over as our rink director. Hopefully people have been out enjoying the rink and our new rink lights. Steve is always looking for volunteers to help with the rink. Please reach out to him at [email protected] if you can lend a hand.

We are still awaiting a final decision from the insurance company with regards to our hall floor collapse. The hall will remain closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.

At the time of writing, we are still in need of a new Secretary, as Karen is stepping down at the end of January. Please consider joining our volunteer board in either this position, or as Infrastructure Director. Thank you for considering us for your volunteer time!

We have recently responded in support of some multi-residential development in Currie Barracks. We look forward to seeing more activity there in the spring.

Hopefully you took the opportunity to provide feedback on several development proposals in our area. It is important to stay engaged.

If you have not already signed up for our email updates, please do so at our website, www.rutlandparkcommunity.com. The City often gives us very short notice for upcoming events, and this is the quickest way for us to reach you. Please also join us on Facebook—Rutland Park Community Association. Thank you for your ongoing support.
