Something is erupting this September in Marda Loop in all the best ways – it’s Beakerhead! From September 19-23, Marda Loop BIA will be one of the “beacons” of Beakerhead, a neighbourhood destination that combines creativity and engineering.
Marda Loop will be host to Lilly in the Lab, created by internationally recognized Calgary-based artist Xstine Cook in collaboration with The Bum Family, a posse of six filmmakers who happen to be between the ages of 8 and 16 (yes, they came up with their own name).
With local establishments riffing on the science theme, Marda Loop will be home to playful experimentation for five delightful days this September. Don your lab coat and let your hair flow like Einstein’s — it’s time for an explosion of creativity!
