With a new year comes a new staff member at KGCA. Hello all, I’m Tera Viccars, the new General Manager and first full time employee at KGCA. The KGCA Board and I are working hard to improve and make our amazing hall and community even better. In my role, I will be taking care of hall rentals, office administration/bookkeeping, facility maintenance and supporting the board, while also reporting to them.
I’ve lived in Killarney 2.5 years and have volunteered for 6.5 months on the board in the Facilities Director role before moving into this position. I am also volunteering as the Team Manager of my son’s hockey team, the Glenlake Sr. Timbits Flames. I love Killarney/Glengarry and this area so much. I grew up in the north end of town and had no idea I would enjoy it here so immensely. Between the community vibe, quick access to downtown, and great people, it’s a very diverse and positive place to live.
I’m the mother of three kids, (6.5, 5 and 1 years old). I met my husband at Suncor Energy 10 years ago and we have been married for 8 years. I also run a Ladies Only Poker Club, if you’re interested, please email me for the details.
