As a non-profit organization driven by dedicated volunteers, the Arbour Lake Community Association (ALCA) extends its efforts beyond the lake boundary. Their goal is to foster a sense of community and inclusivity, ensuring Arbour Lake is a welcoming home for their diverse residents. ALCA actively collaborates with the community to create an environment that encourages belonging through effective communication, engaging activities, and thoughtful programming.

As of the 2021 Census by the City of Calgary, Arbour Lake’s population in private households is 10,335. The community boasts a median total household income of $108,000, with 83% of households spending less than 30% of total income on shelter. 76% of the Arbour Lake population lives in single-detached houses.

In 2021, 85% of private households in Arbour Lake were owner households, and 15% were renter households, providing the perfect place to settle down and start a family.

Diversity and Inclusivity
