Mayfair Bel-Aire Community Association (MBCA), registered under the Alberta Societies Act in 1958, fosters a close-knit community through events like the Annual Stampede Breakfast, Evening with Neighbours Event, and the popular Kid’s Halloween Parade. The community’s amenities, including tennis courts, skating rinks, sports fields, playgrounds, and outdoor fitness equipment, contribute to an exciting lifestyle. The community even has a Participatory Art Wall (two giant chalkboards) where residents can express their love for their community.

According to the 2021 Census by the City of Calgary, Bel-Aire’s population in private households is 400, with 56% falling in the 15 to 64 years age group. The neighbourhood boasts a commendable median total household income of $280,000, with 97% of residents owning their homes, which are exclusively single-detached houses.
With 58% of the population in private households being third generation or more, Bel-Aire takes pride in its Canadian heritage. Suited for retirement, the community has a significant portion of the population in the 65 to 84 years age group (19%), and 4% are 85 years and over. Education is highly valued, with 77% of the population aged 15 and over holding a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree.
