AL ARBOUR LAKE BOARD

Hello Arbour Lake Residents!

The ALRA has been busy with the changing seasons at the lake. We are gearing up for a fantastic winter and hope the weather cooperates!

The ALRA AGM was held on September 26th at the Arbour Lake Residents Hall. There were many items discussed. We will send out reminders for the 2019 AGM next month.

The numbers are in! Arbour Lake had record attendance this summer. In July, we hosted almost 30,000 people! The Movie Jaws on the beach was a huge success and we will do another SUMMER movie next year. We are so sorry the weather would not cooperate for us in September to do another Movie Night, so we will do one as soon as the ICE is ready. What an amazing summer. The credit goes to the General Manger, Craig Somers, and all staff of the lake. WELL DONE!

The ALRA has many upcoming events including Family Bingo Night on Friday November 2nd at 7 pm. Registration is required in advance at the lake office. Our 3rd Annual Christmas Craft Fair will be on Saturday November 17th from 11-3 pm. This year, we will be donating our proceeds from the concession and table rentals to the Kid’s Toy Drive. Please join us for some unique Christmas gifts and special treats. Donations for the toy drive will also be accepted at the door.

The Arbour Lake “Kid’s Christmas Party” will be held on December 1st. Due to our growing popularity, we will host a morning and an afternoon party. The cost is $15 per child. This is an event that you must preregister for.

Our “Light the Night” event will be held on Friday December 7th. Please come join us for a family night of food, fun and Santa!

The Arbour Lake Residents Association is always looking for new ideas to make Arbour Lake great. If you have any ideas, want to volunteer, or are just interested in knowing information, come on down to the lake office. You can email us at [email protected]. We would love to hear from you!
