More than 20 people of all ages participated in the two classes run by Alien Inline. The beautiful weather, great rink conditions, excellent skating instruction, and yummy hot chocolate and marshmallows made for a couple of wonderful afternoons on the ice. The participant’s feedback and abundance of smiles was amazing!
Thank you to the BTCA volunteers who came to help out, and to the Alien Inline trainers and organizers for making this program a huge success!
Special thanks to the City of Calgary Recreation and Parks Association for the Return to Play grant that allowed us to run this free program and to purchase hockey helmets of different sizes for community members to use while skating at the BTCA.
