Happy Spring Beddington!
May is here and it is hopefully safe to say winter is behind us (except for May Long Weekend of course). The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and so is your Community Association. We asked for volunteers and the amazing people you are, answered. We are now full for board members until the AGM this year, but we always need more hands-on deck. We want to start more programs and events, and with restrictions lifting, we are open to all idea; if you want to organize something, the board will happily support new initiatives. Not sure you want to run something yourself; we can also use new voices on the Reimagine Beddington team, Garden Committee, Vivo play hub, single events and more. Very little can happen without dedicated volunteers!! We have a busy few weeks between now and summer break and can’t wait to see everyone’s smiling faces now that masks are optional! Keep a close eye on whatever method of communication you prefer, Facebook, Website, the Banner, or emails–we will be running the Parade of Garage Sales, Partnering with Sandstone McEwan for a Community Clean Up, Scavenger hunt and more! See you all around the neighbourhood!

You may be surprised what BHCA is up to! Naturally, we can’t wait to gather in person for neighbourhood events. In the meantime, Reimagine Beddington (planning for outdoor spaces), the Community Garden (planning to build garden boxes this Spring), the Book Club, and our Board all meet on Zoom.
