Summer Activity Kits
Melisa Tan, BHCA’s Treasurer, created Summer Activity Kits for all our Before and After School summer campers, as well as for many children in our neighbourhood – adding up to about 200! We were thrilled so many residents registered. Thanks, Melisa!
Reminder About Some Shoes to Fill
We have some Board vacancies that must be filled at our Annual General Meeting in November. Role descriptions can be found online. Most positions only require a few hours a month, plus we take summers and December off!
Board Positions:
- President
- Vice-President (Jenn Curley is currently acting President. May be vacant if a President cannot be found)
- Secretary
- Members at Large
- Communications Director: Webmaster and Banner Editor could be handled by two people. This role liaises with the Social Media Coordinator.
In addition, we have interesting projects underway that sure could use extra hands!
Project Leads, Committee Members, or Volunteers:
- Casino Coordinator (Vital!)
- Reimagine Beddington General Members
- Community Garden and Hub General Members
- Butterflyway Ranger(s)
