Brentwood Logo Contest
Help us celebrate Brentwood turning 60! We’re looking for a positive Brentwood logo for printing on stickers, T-Shirts, posters, and perhaps other swag. Contest is open from March 1 to April 15. Please submit image in either .prn, .jpg, or .pdf format to [email protected] by April 15. Logo should be about 7.5”x10” in size and must have Brentwood, but then it’s your imagination!
Think Brentwood is beautiful, it’s better in Brentwood, I love Brentwood…
The winning logo will be used throughout the year, on the July Bugle cover, and we’ll try to get you some wonderful Brentwood Swag with your logo and of course your name on it.
How Long Have You Lived In Brentwood?
This year, the Brentwood Community Association is celebrating its 60th birthday.
Bugle columnist Lee Hunt would like to interview anyone who has lived in Brentwood for the entire 60 years – so, if you have lived in Brentwood since 1963 or earlier, and are willing to be interviewed, please call Lee at 403-284-1083.
Thanks – Brentwood 1961
Bugle reader, Maureen Faunt sent me this amazing photo of our community – before it was a community! In her words: “This is a photo taken in 1961 from what will become Brentwood Blvd. (behind the mall) looking north towards Nose Hill, covering a large area that will become Brentwood district.”
It is wonderful to see pictures of our local history. Any readers with similar photos in their albums are invited to share them with the Bugle!
Volunteers Needed!
Brentwood is turning 60 next year, and the Brentwood Community Association is assembling an Anniversary Committee to plan events to mark this milestone. They are looking for volunteers, so if you are interested, please contact Linda Van Holst at the BCA office at [email protected] or 403-284-3477. Let’s all help to make this a year to remember and celebrate our great community!
