I am very excited to be joining the Triwood community and would like to thank your Board of Directors and outgoing Executive Director Rick Lundi for the great work that they have done maintaining such a healthy operation over the past few years. I have already had the chance to meet with some of the founders and long-standing members of the community and feel inspired to keep the traditions of community engagement and development alive here at Triwood!
Originally from Saskatoon, I have made Calgary my home for the past 12 years. After several years working in the Northeast of the city developing sports and recreational programs for youth, I most recently served as Executive Director of the Calgary South West United soccer club. I hope that my experience and passion for working to develop community programs and opportunities can make a positive impact here at Triwood in the years to come.
We have a creative and hard-working team of staff at Triwood who are all eager to continue shaping the Triwood Community Centre into a home both to those who built it, and for the next generation of local residents. Please feel welcomed to come by and say hello, voice your opinions and ideas about the community and, of course, to utilize our facility space, join our health and wellness classes and attend our special events!
