Constable Kelly Lower of the Calgary Police Service conducted an information session for seniors in North Haven on the so-called “Grandparent Scam”. This scam generally targets elderly individuals by pretending to be a loved one in need. If you suspect that you may be the target of such a scam, contact your loved one directly to verify whether or not the message is genuine.
