Business Networking Session October 9
Please note that our Business Networking Session has been moved up to Tuesday, October 9 from 7 to 9pm. If you operate a small business in North Haven, come to the hall for an evening of introductions, networking and brainstorming. Discuss vision, resources and possible collaborations within North Haven. All home-based businesses, local businesses, service organizations, not-for-profits, and other stakeholders who call North Haven home are encouraged to attend. Paint Our New Pathway!
We have chosen a design from one of our local artist submissions. Put on your painting clothes and join us to paint our new 48th Avenue pathway on Saturday October 13 from 9am to 1pm. Be creative! Have fun! Eat pizza!
Halloween Dance Tickets Sell Quickly
On Saturday, October 27 from 6 to 8:30pm, we’re hosting our ever-popular Family Halloween Dance. Tickets go on sale on the website on Sunday October 14 at 8am. The fabulous DJ Safezone provides the music. Our concession will be open with treats and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). You can even pre-pay for these concession items online at the time of ticket purchase. This event sells out quickly so don’t delay!
Families Who Play Together
Saturday November 10 from 1 to 3pm will be a family board game event. Bring your favourite game (we’ll have a few games there as well), and some change for concession items. This event is open to residents of all ages and is free for members. Non-members pay $2 per person.
DJ SafeZone Plays for Pre-Teens
November 10 from 6:30 to 8:30pm is our fall pre-teen dance open to Grades 4-6 with our DJ SafeZone! Tickets are $4 in advance on the website or $5 at the door. Bring some change for the Concession! We do need a couple of volunteers to chaperone, so please sign up through the website if you can help out at this event.
Plan Ahead with our Calendar
Our event calendar is posted on our website, northhavenyyc.ca, so you can plan ahead. Occasionally, some dates may change so check back periodically or, ‘like’ our Facebook page to receive updates. Future events include a fall Pre-Teen Dance, a Family Board Game afternoon, and a Seniors’ Tea.
