Bonavista Cares is once again partnering with our friends at Parkland Cares for a new initiative! In June, for Pride month, we will be collecting and filling toiletry bags for The Skipping Stone Foundation. We will advertise more details through social media and the Bonavista Cares email mailing list with more information. Please write [email protected] to get added to stay up to date on all our initiatives.
In February, donations of clean towels, pet toys and accessories, and laundry soap were collected during Winterfest at the Parkland Community Association Hall on behalf of AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society).
In March, we were so excited to partner with Basically Babies’ Layette program to collect new and gently used newborn to 24-month clothing, toys, and supplies to aid babies in extreme need in Calgary.
As always, we look forward to inviting community members to join our planning team and look forward to more exciting initiatives in 2023.
