The New Brighton Community Association (NBCA) acts as a political voice of the community and is responsible for working with the City of Calgary on a wide variety of community issues such as traffic calming, playground zones, city park issues, etc. The NBCA has voluntary membership and is made up of resident volunteers who live in the community.

The Tool Shed is available to all New Brighton residents, for free, with the premium tools being available to residents who also hold valid NBCA membership.
