Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone had a good month. I know I am really looking forward to spring. I only have a few things to talk about this month, so here I go.
As most people in the community probably already know, Haultain Memorial School and the parents’ association are doing their best to try and get their 23-year-old playground updated. The vision is to replace the aging equipment and add some picnic tables so that students and community members alike can enjoy and use this space to its full potential. The build target is this fall and we would like to maximize our application for a CFEP (Community Facility Enhancement Program), a matching grant that has an application date of May.
We will be holding our AGM on May 13. Everyone is invited. Only members can vote. There are a few positions open. Have a look at our website to find out what positions are available.
There will be a Parade of Garage Sales on May 27. To participate, register at the following website: www.queenslandgaragesale.com.
