My name is George Wong, and I’m the Expansion and Development Director on the CHPH Board. I am a proud born and raised Calgarian! I went to high school at John G. Diefenbaker in north central Calgary and grew up watching the Flames and Stampede wrestling, so I am also a huge Hart family wrestling fan.
I have lived with my wife, Minah, and our cat, Popcorn, in Patterson Heights since 2021.
I joined the community association because I was really excited about the energy and excitement in the community regarding the outdoor hub. I think we live in one of the best communities in Calgary! You’ll see me with my skates on at the outdoor rink.
For my day job, I am a lawyer with Jensen Shawa Solomon Duguid Hawkes LLP (JSS Barristers) specialising in civil litigation. JSS Barristers is a local boutique litigation law firm and has been part of the Calgary legal community for over 20 years. My practice includes municipal appeal work including appearing before the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB). As Director of Development with the community association, I want to help make sure that our community is informed and consulted with for all development projects.
