Congratulations to the winners of our First Annual Evergreen Gardening Contest!
The gardens that the judges viewed were truly beautiful gems in our community, displaying the result of many hours of dedicated hard work. They were all very unique and inspiring, bringing out the best of nature’s diverse plants and colours. Choosing the best contestants of all was not an easy process. One thing is for sure: every garden was a winner as they added a great deal of beauty to our beloved community.
Thanks to the judges who volunteered their time and knowledge to make the final decision in this special contest: Meryl Coombs, President of Spruce It Up Garden Centre, Elaine Rude, President of the Master Gardeners’ Association of Alberta, and Kath Smyth, Horticulturist at Calgary Horticultural Society.
CECA was represented by our executives: Mohamd Sltan, President, and Paul Bushell, VP.
Next summer we hope to see many more dedicated gardeners joining the fun!
