1941 Ford Special Deluxe

Article and photo by Fred Nelson

A couple of blocks down from the Glenbrook Community Hall resides this rare Street Rod designed and built by Hans, a local contractor.

While a ’40 Ford is common, production of the 1941s stopped abruptly when interrupted by WWII.

It would fill this whole newsletter to describe all the modifications, so we’ll just say it has a 428 Super Cobra Jet engine that really sizzles. You need sunglasses to look at all that chrome.

The photo was taken at the World of Wheels car show.

If you have a classic car that you would like to see featured in the Glenbrook Globe, please reach out to Fred at 403-242-3856.
