Dear Neighbours,
It really does feel like it’s the time of year to talk about cookies. And cake. Squares. Chocolates, and all things sweet and delicious.
After all, the weather is cool, and after a tough year it is time to indulge a bit. That’s why I’ve included a recipe for salted caramel chocolate cookies in this edition of the Thumper, for what I’m hoping will be the first of many recipes shared in our new monthly feature: Recipe Corner.
But to keep this piece running, I need your help. And your recipes. Please send your favourite recipe to [email protected], ideally with a picture or two. If there is a special story that you want to share with the recipe, feel free to send that along too.
My hope is that eventually we can pull together a community cookbook, that includes the recipes (and stories) submitted by all of you.
And, if you have some time, do try out that salted caramel chocolate cookie recipe – I can testify that it’s a keeper.
