Haysboro’s President’s Message for March 2023

Although March is upon us, I’d like to reflect back on February.

We held a number of community events last month. The Jelly Bean Dance and Super Bowl viewing event allowed people from all ages to gather together for laughs and cheers under the roof of the community hall.

We also welcomed families through the building for the preschool open house. I’d like to thank our preschool teachers for their dedication and hard work as early educators for Haysboro’s wee ones.

Also this month, the Haysboro Community Association has secured funding from a provincial grant allowing the Board to get around to some much need upgrades to our building and facilities. This is exciting news!

We’ve established a Facilities Committee. A reminder, the community members who are not already sitting board members are welcome to join and share feedback about some of these projects. Feel free to get in touch with me or another board member for more information.

If you get a spring break this month, enjoy! Take a moment to enjoy something green this month as well.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Thomas
