The newly constructed Oakridge Professional Building is open for business!
Many businesses have relocated from the mall and are now operating from their new premises, including Co-Op Cannabis, CIBC, Connect First, Hearing Life, Personalized Bookkeeping, Oakridge Denture Clinic, Oakridge Chiropractic, and The Village Studio. Oakridge Dental Clinic and West Peaks Dental Clinic will be opening in late March. We are excited to welcome Easy Blink Optometry/Vision Therapy to the Professional Building this summer.
Demolition of the mall is planned to begin this spring and should be completed by fall. Once complete, construction of a new food store will commence with a planned opening for late 2024.
All existing businesses including the food store, gas bar, and car wash will remain open during the construction period and all efforts will be made to minimize any interruption.
Once the new food store is open, we will demolish the current food store, and begin the final phase of the project which includes residential development slated to be complete for 2026.
