Your Palliser Bayview Pump Hill Community Association Board of Directors has opportunities for you to:
• Contribute time and share ideas for the future of this community.
• Meet to exchange/share ideas and strategies with others who share similar interests!
• Develop ideas for community events which will make PBP a more attractive community to live, raise a family, or to enjoy your senior years.
• Fill a leadership role as part of the PBPCA BOD.
Are you interested in collaboration with others to develop plans for the future of Palliser Bayview Pumphill Community? The City of Calgary is expected to begin a Local Area Plan for our communities in the SW district of Calgary. Ideas, community visions, and concepts of future development possibilities will be presented and discussed as part of the process.
If the above opportunities are of interest, you may wish to attend the next meeting of the BPBCA Board of Directors to get to know them and determine possibilities for your involvement.
The PBPCA needs your knowledge, experience, and skills in representing our community, planning and implementing community social events, maintaining the existing facilities, and involvement in a future community development process.
The PBPCA BOD is currently looking for candidates who reflect the full diversity of the communities that we serve to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors for the 2023-24 period. Our current Board of Directors is comprised of a knowledgeable, diverse group of individuals from various disciplines and stages of careers. What do these Directors all have in common? They care about their community and want to promote positive change. Come join our team and help the PBPCA provide and coordinate accessible community, health, and social services for the benefit of your family, neighbours, and larger community.

Include in your submission, an outline of current business or employment background and resume outlining your qualifications and areas of interest in support of your submission. Applications and nominations will be reviewed by members of the Executive committee. You will be contacted to arrange a one-on-one interview with our President and/or Vice-President. The interview will be a casual discussion around your background, knowledge, and understanding of PBP communities and the ideas and ambitions you may have for future consideration.
