When: Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Where: RPCA parking lot (3130 – 40 Avenue SW)
This event saves our residents a trip to the landfill for items that do not fit in black carts. In addition, we will have a variety of support services available to help you recycle unwanted items. These services are free of charge. Please check the RPCA website and Facebook page for more details on acceptable and unacceptable items.
On-Site Services
• City of Calgary – Garbage packer truck. Please note that organic trucks are no longer available.
• Performance Waste Management – Metal and wood recycling
• Shanked Computer Recycling (Currie Barracks) with support from Alberta Recyling
• Calgary Drop In-Centre
• Free Store – Drop off and/or select items
• OK Tire, Richmond Road – Tires with or without rims
• Girl Guides Bottle Drive
Good Neighbours Service
Seniors or those who require assistance with the pick-up of items from their home for disposal or recycling, please contact Sue prior to the day.
Volunteers
