Hello Signal Hill Neighbours,
Hope your summer has been enjoyable so far, and that you have been able to spend time outdoors with family – and friends “at a distance”. It’s been a different summer for sure, as I expect most of us have been sticking pretty close to home. Still lots of time to get in some additional activities and more fully appreciate what Signal Hill, Calgary and Alberta have to offer.
Looking for Local Content
If you get this far in our monthly newsletter, I’m thinking that perhaps you are wondering why we don’t have more specific or local items of interest. Reality is that we just don’t have access to the resourcing required to develop or compile significant amounts of material or articles each month.
So…if you would like to help us out a bit and contribute something that you think might be of interest to your Signal Hill neighbours – or even if you’d just like to see something of yours in print – then please consider contributing. A few suggestions as follows …
- A photo of some aspect of our community
- A short story
- A poem
- A photo of a “work of art” done by any member of your family
- A gardening tip
- A favourite recipe
