Have a look through the coming pages, and you’ll see all the tremendous plans we have in store for you for this summer. Weekly Yoga, Computer classes, Art classes, Good Food Box, our newly minted “Family Games Night”, Sewing classes and a Community Garden to get involved in.

Summer Festival is coming August 24. More details will be coming in the August.

You should also consider joining Block Watch, Scouts, and Guides. In September you’ll see our annual mass registration evening, which will include some of these groups, as well some of our regular monthly programs.

We are also embarking on building a community planning committee. If you are interested in joining and having a say in what our future community looks like, send me an email at [email protected], and I’ll get you in touch with David, who is leading the charge.

We are always open for business. If your business would like to sponsor or contribute to an event or program, we are all ears to hear from you.

In the meantime, consider joining our growing and dynamic board, and have an impact on making our community even better. Our Annual General Meeting is coming up September 8th at 7 pm. This is a tremendous opportunity to get to know what the association does, what it can do and how you can be a part of it. Remember “volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.”
