Ho! Ho! Ho! And Mistletoe!
It’s that very festive time of year and Girl Guide chocolaty mint cookies are perfect for the season! There are units still selling cookies so keep an eye out at local retail locations for our yummy mint cookies.
In December, all our units will be busy celebrating the festive season and wishing everyone ‘Peace on Earth”.
SPARK units learned about their heritage, learned some first aid and will be having holiday parties and making “Socks of Hope” for the homeless.
BROWNIE units are camping, learning about the weather and will be singing for seniors to celebrate the holiday season.
GUIDE units will be attending a STEM day, are working on their Women of Valor challenge and are participating in different service projects providing supplies and materials for organizations and people in need in our community.
PATHFINDER, RANGER & TREX units were busy gift wrapping for the Cerebral Palsy Association, attended a District laser tag event and went to Calgary Area Ranger camp.
Guiding is a great place to grow lasting friendships and experience new opportunities. Why not give us a try! Registration is ongoing and January is a great time of year to join a unit and have some fun.
