I would like to start off with an apology. I previously stated the community clean-up was September 15. Thankfully, Wanda caught my error, the clean-up is actually Saturday, September 14 this year.
Glass House Experience should be at the centre when this letter comes out. With the recent passing of my mother-in-law, we are looking forward to taking part in the ash to glass program. We will incorporate some of her ashes into a glass keepsake made by the family. Hopefully you have had the opportunity to either participate or observe one of their demonstration days. We are fortunate to have them come to our centre, as only a few in town have had the honour.
Like myself, I am sure everyone feels the summer disappearing. So much to get done, and running out of time to do it. Although not ideal, the consecutive days of rain have certainly helped keep my water bill down. May you enjoy the rest of the summer and have the sun shine on any events you have planned.
