Hello Hawkwood!
I hope this post finds you refreshed and renewed this spring as Hawkwood’s trees begin to bud and the grass turns greener. I am looking forward to the warmer and longer days the month of May brings and can’t wait to see how our Community Garden plots progress over the next weeks and months.
Our soccer program is now underway at the Hawkwood Community Park. Please keep an eye out for our younger residents on weekday evenings as you drive along Hawkstone Drive and Hawkhill Road. Thank you to everyone who stepped into the various volunteer positions this season to support the program.
We also have a very active Pickleball Group in our community, and they recently launched the registration for the 2023 season. A valid Community Association membership is needed to register. For more information, please contact [email protected].
I have been having some great conversations with residents about the Hawkwood Community Association. We continue to actively recruit to fill vacant positions. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities in your own backyard and are passionate about being of service to your community, please send me an email at [email protected] and I will be pleased to connect with you.
