Banff Trail Crime Activity was Up in January 2024
Banff Trail Calgary experienced 12 crimes in January 2024, in comparison to 10 crimes the previous month, and 21 crimes in January one year ago. The Banff Trail community has an average of 11.1 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Banff Trail had a total of 133 crimes as of January 2024, which is down 48% in comparison to 257 crimes as of January 2023. Total Banff Trail community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.
Banff Trail Calgary had 1 break and enter (B&E) crime in January, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in December and 2 B&E crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Banff Trail had a total of 10 B&E crimes as of January 2024, which is down from 66 B&E crimes as of January 2023.
Banff Trail had 4 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in January 2024, in comparison to 3 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 15 vehicle related crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Banff Trail had a total of 79 vehicle related crimes as of January 2024, which is down in comparison to 147 vehicle related crimes as of January 2023.
