Forest Lawn Crime Activity was Up in January 2024

Forest Lawn Calgary experienced 34 crimes in January 2024, in comparison to 21 crimes the previous month, and 20 crimes in January one year ago. The Forest Lawn community has an average of 33.1 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Forest Lawn had a total of 397 crimes as of January 2024, which is down 28% in comparison to 551 crimes as of January 2023. Total Forest Lawn community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Forest Lawn Calgary had 6 break and enter (B&E) crimes in January, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in December and 6 B&E crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Forest Lawn had a total of 25 B&E crimes as of January 2024, which is down from 114 B&E crimes as of January 2023.

Forest Lawn had 15 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in January 2024, in comparison to 11 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 7 vehicle related crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Forest Lawn had a total of 167 vehicle related crimes as of January 2024, which is down in comparison to 237 vehicle related crimes as of January 2023.
