Marlborough Crime Activity was Down in January 2024

Marlborough Calgary experienced 22 crimes in January 2024, in comparison to 23 crimes the previous month, and 35 crimes in January one year ago. The Marlborough community has an average of 28.3 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Marlborough had a total of 339 crimes as of January 2024, which is down 24% in comparison to 446 crimes as of January 2023. Total Marlborough community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Marlborough Calgary had 2 break and enter (B&E) crimes in January, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in December and 6 B&E crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Marlborough had a total of 23 B&E crimes as of January 2024, which is down from 79 B&E crimes as of January 2023.

Marlborough had 10 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in January 2024, in comparison to 8 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 15 vehicle related crimes in January 2023. On an annual basis, Marlborough had a total of 151 vehicle related crimes as of January 2024, which is down in comparison to 217 vehicle related crimes as of January 2023.
