One of the nine grids on the main floor of your house addresses the idea of fame and reputation in your life. This area is in the middle of the back of your home – the South. If you want to attract positive vibes into your business ventures, increase your sense of self-worth, foster integrity, attract acknowledgement and get more recognition, then these suggestions will amplify the good vibes of this area.

The main color of fame and reputation is red. One of my clients easily incorporated beautiful red curtains since there were windows at the back of his house. He loved the combination of a practical need for curtains with a symbolic feng shui color for that area. This gentleman wanted to balance the space to uplift his lack of self-confidence and to invite new opportunities because he felt he was not getting the projects at work he was interested in. He was tired of being overlooked. By focusing on this area, he was opening up to the possibility of inviting due recognition and cementing a stronger sense of self for himself.

What is a good shape for this sector? If you want to add other items or art pieces, the triangle shape is the perfect choice. I discovered a beautiful replica of a pyramid at a museum that found a welcome space here. Another option is a triangle-shaped Himalayan lamp that is both ideal for its shape and illumination. Additionally, you want to endorse the idea of growth and light here. Tall lamps are useful, as they represent the fire element. Also, the towering height of lamps and the light (illumination) can become symbols of your inward growth; these objects will also remind you of your new intentions to reconstruct your growing fame, reputation, confidence and self-esteem.

In the fame and reputation grid, you can continue the idea of light and fire for illumination and bright starts and use art pieces. Wouldn’t a fireplace be perfect for this space? Also, I was excited to find red triangle candles – not only were they delightful, but they cast an inspirational glow in this space. Every time I lit the candles, I envisioned sparking my fame and reputation. Indeed, any symbol of fire can easily find place in this area. Paintings and art can do double duty in this area. Imagine a wooden framed picture of burning red meteor hurtling through space. Other options are pictures of famous people, tall mountain peaks and birds in flight to lend to the idea of soaring heights. Also, since wood is the element that supports fire, you can use wooden furniture pieces here. When you start looking through feng shui eyes, you will be surprised by how your enhancements can fit the space symbolically and aesthetically.

Other options that can be housed or displayed in the fame corner are personal emblems of accomplishments. You can proudly showcase your degrees, awards, trophies, medals and photographs. Here is the spot to put items that represent your desire to win that fame and recognition. How about using your imagination to harness future possibilities? For example, you can create that mock award or degree and put them on that wooden desk or table until the real ones arrive in your life. If you prefer to be discreet, leave any of these emblems or colors hidden in drawers or desks.

Think of it – your fame and reputation area is now your inspiration and motivation. The space will encourage you to fortify your growing confidence and to dream big. Every time you come home and look at the back of your house, you will be reminded that fiery red feng shui flames are fanning your fame and reputation. Indeed, you are already a superstar!
