Hello Woodcreek Residents,

It is hard to believe it is April already. We have completed our March Membership Drive and we are pleased with the number of new members who are going to be taking advantage of the great opportunities WCA provides for our residents. Here are some highlights of what WCA has been busy doing and planning:

Tennis and pickleball memberships are on sale. It is a great to be able to play these racquet sports on such well-maintained courts. For beginners, or those new to pickleball, check out the drop-in lessons WCA organizes.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt is being organized as I type this Message from the Executive. I’m sure it was a success.

The Board has organized a Stampede Breakfast for July 9 this year. This is a fun way to meet people and see some familiar faces. We have our live band back this year so mark your calendars.

There will be food trucks again this summer on select Tuesday evenings. Watch your inbox for details on when they will be here and what yummy treats you can come enjoy.

We are saying goodbye to the ice rink and cross-country ski tracks for the season. Thanks to all the volunteers who kept these in tip top shape.

Members receive email updates to let you know about events and activities impacting the community, e.g., the new sanitary trunk line. It’s a great perk to keep you in the know.

Please let the office know if you would like to receive a digital newsletter highlighting information about goings on and important events in Woodcreek once each month. This will be one of the best ways to stay informed about what is going on in our community. You don’t have to be a member to receive this newsletter, but we do encourage you to join.

WCA is open for rentals! We have some really lovely spaces for birthday parties, meetings, and get-togethers of all sorts. Call Sue or Erin and find out what we can do for you.

The Gardening Club met over the winter months but is now busy planning and meeting in-person. Come join the club! The website is the best place to find out more information if you have a green thumb.

Seniors – drop by or call the office and see what events and activities Anne has organized. There are fitness classes, bridge, and other social activities which meet regularly.

Make sure you are following us on Facebook and Instagram. There are lots of interesting posts and comments from our residents.

Have a wonderful April.
